Malaysia’s ALFA University College (ALFA University College), referred to as AUC, was established on June 3, 1999, named Alif Creative Academy (Alif Creative Academy). Its purpose is to provide a place for learning for Malaysian students who love art. Chairman is Dr. Shaharuddin Bin Mohd Satha. In December 2009, it was officially renamed to ALFA University College. The new school site is only 8 kilometers away from KLCC, the center of Kuala Lumpur. This is the famous university district in Kuala Lumpur.

ALFA University College is famous for its art majors and occupies a pivotal position in Malaysia. In 2015, ALFA University College obtained ISO international quality certification. The employment rate of ALFA University’s graduates is 95%. The art major ranks among the top five in Malaysia. It ranks second in the certification list of the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange of the Ministry of Education of China. All majors have passed MQA Certification from Malaysia Ministry of Higher Education which complies with Malaysia and international standards, ALFA University College is also one of Malaysia’s five-star universities.

The Vice-Chancellor of ALFA University College is Professor Dr. Nurliza Binti Musllim, appointed on 1st August. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics, obtained in 1987, a Master’s degree from UPM in 1997, and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Houston in 2000. With over 35 years of experience in the education industry, she began her career as a teacher in 1989 and joined the university as a lecturer in 2002. Over the years, she has held various key roles, including Dean, Director of Quality, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, and Director of APEL. Additionally, she is active in community work, with her latest commitment being her involvement in PERKIM Kebangsaan.

ALFA University College has 5 colleges and 1 language center, with 68 full-time diploma, undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs, respectively.

Applying Undergraduate Degree

Undergraduate students who do not have a high school diploma can also enroll with a GED, which is the equivalent of a 12th grade education in the United States. GED preparation takes at least 4 to 6 months. For an undergraduate degree in Thailand, you have to attend 3 (or 4) years. As a scholarship, you can apply to Child Dream Association, Prospect Burma, and May Bank, which are based in Switzerland. For this scholarship, you should prepare either GED or IELTS (or) TOFEL.

Applying Postgraduate Degree

For Postgraduate, the time can last from 3 to 4 years. IELTS Band Score 6.5 (or TOFEL 80) is required. It may differ depending on the university he chooses to attend.

Differences Private & Public Universities

International public universities have a higher ranking than private universities and are more strict in accepting admissions. Part-Time job permit

According to the law of the Thai government, international students who come to study from outside of Thailand are not allowed to work part time/full time while they are studying. As an exception, in some relevant schools, you can get internship experience with "Unpaid Internship". Only after the end of the study period can you legally apply for a job and continue living with a Work Visa.
